Lisa & Ken - The not-so Candy Ass Llamas

Lisa and I drove over to Ontario this weekend to visit Sam. It snowed much of the way over, but the only actual snow on the road was over Immigrant Pass. Once past Baker, we did not have any more snow. We stayed once again at Ontario Inn, but for some reason we both had a lot of trouble getting any sleep; traffic noise seemed really loud. I woke up 3 or 4 times during the night, very unusual for me. We woke up at 7:15 and I panicked as we had a 8:00 AM appointment to see Sam. It all worked out, and we made it to the correction center by just after 8.

Sam looked really good. His 21st birthday was Friday. He has been working out again, and has dropped some of the chubbiness he'd gained. He's also taken to keeping his hair really short. We had a good visit, although Sam and Lisa apparently decided this was a pick on Dad visit. :) It's always good to see him and visit in person, but of course it's always a little emotional for me as well. The drive home had a LOT more snow. Lisa drove to LaGrande and I drove the rest of the way - and boy am I pooped tonight!
